Dan Pallotta: The Way We Think About Charity Is Dead Wrong

This TED Talk is what sparked the idea I posted about how a for-profit business could either end or drastically reduce homelessness. I feel a non profit organization is a better suited organization for this, but I also realize that non profits have been stigmatized to the point of near uselessness on the larger issues, such as the 24 billion dollar homelessness issue in the United States of America.

Now, non-profit Capitalism is an oxymoron, and that’s partly why I picture doing this as a for-profit organization. I call this Capitalism with a Social Conscience.
